Abstract
A moslluscan fauna of ninety five species (gastropods) is described and ilustrated. Twenty nine species are described as new: Uromitra vokesae, Uromitra palmerae, Scaphella americana, Marginella prewillcoxiana, Marginella (Eratoidea) minor, Volvarina diminuta, Prunum (Microspira) solida, Pleurofusia nesbiti, Pleurofusia (Fusiturricula) mexicana, Scobinella miocenica, Vaughanites adkinsi, Drillia engerrandi, Drillia urbinai, Drillia mansfieldi, Agladrillia boesei, Agladrillia (Eumetadrillia) thalmanni, Agladrillia (Eumetadrillia) mauryae, Microdrillia istmica, Glyphoturris toulai, Lepicythara veracruzana, Bactrocythara tehuantepecensis, Brachycythara santarosaensis, Glyphostoma (Glyphostoma) agueguexquitensis, Glysphostoma (Lioglyphostoma) reticulata, Daphnella elongata, Pleurotomella weisbordi, Pleurotomella harbisonae, Strioterebum cambiarsoi mexicana.
The whole fauna derives from a single horizon of the Middle Miocene Agueguexquite Formation of the southest portion of the State of Veracruz.
