Abstract

This paper describes five species, one of them new, belonging to four genera of belemnoids from the Upper Triassic of northwestern Sonora. The specimens illustrated and described are Metabelemnites ? sp. cf. M. philippii ? (Hyatt and Smith), Choanoteuthis antimoniensis n. sp., Dictyoconites sp., and Actinoconites spp. A. and B.
