Abstract
Two species of proetid trilobites, Anisopyge perannulata and Ditomopyge cf. D. whitei, are found in the Middle Permian strata of the Las Delicias Formation, southwestern Coahuila. These trilobites are associated with abundant fusulinids, sponges, corals, brachiopods, mollusks and other invertebrates. The presence of Waagenoceras dieneri, Pseudagathiceras difuntense, Eumedlicottia burckhardti and other cephalopods allow us to establish a Wordian-Captitanian (Middle Guadalupian) age for bearing strata.
