Moluscos del Maastrichtiano de la sierra El Antrisco Estado de Nuevo León

Resumen
En el estudio presente se describe el material de moluscos recolectado en 11 localidades de la sierra El Antrisco que no han sido mencionadas por otros autores. El material descrito corresponde a 41 especies de moluscos que pertenecen a 11 familias de gasterópodos, cuatro familias de cefalópodos y 12 familias de bivalvos. De las 41 especies descritas, 31 son reportadas por primera vez en el área de estudio. Asimismo, se contribuye al conocimiento del ambiente de depósito y paleoecología de la zona. Se ratifica la edad correspondiente al Maastrichtiano y se interpreta un ambiente de depósito de litoral con base en la fauna asociada, como son vermes y crustáceos, y restos de madera.
