Resumen

En este estudio se describen e ilustran 34 especies (33 pelecípodos y un cefalópodo), de las cuales seis son nuevas: Transennella santorosaensis, corbula (Caryocarbula) olssoni, Corbula (Carycorbula) durhami, Teredo woodringi, Verticordia (Verticordia) aguguexquitensis, Ostrea (Ostrea) ístmica. También se incluyen tres subespecies nuevas:  Alveinus abundans mexicana, Corbula (Caryocorbula) dominicensis veracruzana, Corbula (Carycobula) whitfieldi mexicana.


El material procede de la Formación Agueguexquite del “Mioceno medio” de la región suroriental del Estado de Veracruz.
