Habilidades blandas como herramientas efectivas para un desarrollo integral de las paleontólogas

Resumen

El propósito de este ensayo es destacar la importancia de desarrollar las habilidades blandas de las paleontólogas. Mediante el análisis de referencias bibliográficas y la experiencia directa de las autoras, justificamos la necesidad de integrar estrategias en los currículos de las universidades y en la formación de científicas. Algunas habilidades esenciales que analizamos son la comunicación efectiva, el trabajo en equipo, la ética, la creatividad y el liderazgo, las cuales mejoran el desempeño individual, la colaboración interdisciplinaria y la optimización de los resultados de las investigaciones paleontológicas, tanto en el trabajo de campo como en el laboratorio. Este texto también recopila las iniciativas destinadas a integrarlas en la formación profesional. Existen pocos recursos que consideren las necesidades de las paleontólogas, tanto en México como a nivel global. Es necesario proponer enfoques que fomenten el avance profesional individual, así como un cambio cultural más amplio en la paleontología. Las habilidades blandas representan una herramienta efectiva para mejorar el desempeño de paleontólogas en la vida académica, en la vida personal y en el crecimiento individual.
